Comprehensive consultation & treatment using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) techniques such as Acupuncture, dry needling, electro, cupping, moxa &/or massage to ease stress and holistically support pain, injury & illness recovery.

Follow-up Acupuncture treatment:                    45mins            $90

Acupuncture continuing care, maintenance and prevention. After meeting Nicci book your follow-ups any time to suit.

 

Therapeutic Massage and/or Cupping:              30mins           $60

Hands on massage therapy with optional cupping to ease muscle tension and support recovery. Nicci uses a mix of Chinese Medicine Tuina (Chinese) and Swedish deep tissue styles, focusing on one primary area of need per session.

ACC not available, 30min appointments only.

*ACC - Acupuncture treatment for Specific Injury Claims:

Comprehensive consultation & treatment using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) techniques such as Acupuncture, dry needling, electro, cupping, and/or moxa to support treatment of specific injury recovery.

*ACC Conditions For Acupuncture:       

Self or practitioner referral . To qualify you must have an accepted ACC 45 claim no. with a date of injury within the last 12 months.   Once treatment has started ACC co-payments are only available for 3 months per claim, then standard rates apply.

"Acupuncture" treatments may include:

Acupuncture:  Mild stimulation of meridian and/or muscular points using super fine, sterile, single use needles.

Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncturists are trained in all types of acupuncture including dry needling (muscles), medical acupuncture for general health concerns in combination with both western and Chinese medicine models of health.

Cupping:  Traditional Chinese suction cups aimed to stimulate local healing, mobility and ease muscle tension.  Can look scary but is actually painless. Often used post sports to aid muscle recovery, improve flexibility and conditioning.

Electro Acupuncture:  Mild current attached to the end of   needles with the aim of stimulating healing responses to ease pain, stimulate blood flow, calm nerves and clear inflammation. 

Acu-pressure and Tuina:  Chinese Massage and/or holding of  acu-points used for relief of muscular aches and pains.

Moxibustion:  Herbal heat treatment used to gently warm the body and stimulate blood flow for  healing.

Magnets, Ear Seeds, Gua-sha and other tools:  There are many traditional treatments available to an acupuncturist.   These are  always demonstrated and  explained before use.
